  5. The Japanese Language Kit contains everything you need to easily add Japanese
  6. to your documents. This Language Kit can be used with your Apple Macintosh
  7. computer to run Japanese applications and include Japanese text in letters,
  8. presentations, and reports.  You can even work with files created using
  9. KanjiTalk, Apple's Japanese version of the Macintosh operating system.

  11. Whether you're a desktop publisher or business professional , you can use the
  12. Language Kit to develop Japanese language  materials such as brochures,
  13. posters, business cards, presentations, and restaurant menus.   Students and
  14. teachers can use it to run interactive Japanese language programs, and produce
  15. compelling term papers using Japanese.  While the Japanese Language Kit does
  16. not translate text, it does let you easily input, edit, and print in Japanese
  17. using your current operating system (version 7.1).

  19. The Language Kit works as an extension to System 7.1 and allows you to run
  20. Japanese applications.  Because you use your original operating system, there
  21. is no need to keep an additional system on your hard drive.  The Japanese
  22. Language Kit also contains Kotoeri, the same easy-to-use input method that is
  23. included in KanjiTalk 7.

  25. Almost every major software program has a version that has been localized for
  26. Japanese.  All you need to run them is the Japanese Language Kit and System
  27. 7.1. You can even use non-localized programs, such as Nisus 3.4, that take
  28. advantage of WorldScript, Apple's new software technology.  WorldScript,
  29. introduced with System 7.1, simplifies the way in which multiple languages can
  30. be supported by a single operating system.

  32. The Japanese Language Kit comes with two Kanji TrueType fonts, which offer high
  33. quality output from any Macintosh-compatible printer.  Documentation is
  34. provided in both Japanese and English, and you can type using either the Roman
  35. or kana keyboard layout.  These features make it easy to use whether you're a
  36. native speaker or just learning Japanese.
